White Sax promotes MLB debut to SS Konson Montgomery

Chicago White Sox promoted the prized shortstop Sambhavna Konsa Montgomery from Triple-e-Charlett on Friday to start against Colorado Rockies.
Montgomery must be making its major league debut. He will bat for the seventh and play a shortstop against Rockies.
The 23 -year -old received news of his campaigning from Charlotte Manager Sergio Santos on Thursday night.
Santos was giving details about a trip which included bus rides overnight for Jacksonville for a game on Friday. He then dropped the surprise at Montgomery.
“Unfortunately, you won’t play shortstop for us tomorrow,” Santos said with a well -stagnation during a video. “You will play a shortstop for Chicago White Sox.”
Montgomery was then overwhelmed by emotions.
The first round of white sox was the first round pick in Montgomery 2021 (total 22nd). According to the MLB pipeline, they are given the possibility of No. 5 of the White Sox.
This season has 11 Homer and 30 RBI in 55 matches for Charlotte, but only .218 batted and hit 82 times.
Chicago nominated Winnie Capra, the third basman for assignment to open a 40-man roster spot for Montgomery.
The 28 -year -old Capra hit the two RBI in 23 matches with white Sox after claiming from Wavers on 15 May. He was with Milvauki before this season and batted with a homer and four RBI in 24 matches with Broovers.
White Sox also activated the left-handed Fraser Alard (LAT) from the 60-day injured list and gave him an option for Charlotte. The 27 -year -old Alard performed 6.75 ERA in seven performances for Chicago before this season.
