Jays placed a new first place on line against Angels

Toronto Blue Jais ranks first in the American League East after sweeping the four-game series from New York Yankis.

The next task of Blue Jais has to be there, with a three-game opener against Los Angeles Angels starting on Friday night.

Toronto on Thursday gained a game on New York with an 8–5 win over Yenkis and Idol Tampa Bay rays. This is the first time Blue Jais led the division in the season since 2016, when they ended in a wild-card spot. He last captured the previous title in 2015.
