Natasha Cloud scored a season-hai 23 points, as New York Liberty crossed the 11 points deficiency, controlled late in the third quarter and rallied to win the 89–79 over Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday.
Liberty (12–5) won only the third time in its last eight matches, which was after its season-opening nine-game winning streak. New York, which opened the eight-game homestand on Thursday, avoided leaving three directly since July 7-21, 2022, a large extent thanks to a large extent for excluding the sparks from 32–18 in the third period.

Deerica Hambi led all the scorers with 25 points, but the sparks (5–13) continued to struggle to protect the Leeds and fell for the sixth time in seven matches. Kelsey Plum added 13 points to 2 -10 shooting, but Los Angeles hit 48.2 percent in total.
Los Angeles scored the first six points of the game and took a lead of 41–37 in Halftime.
Hambi scored seven consecutive los angeles points, and the sparks took a 53–42 lead, with 6:07 with the third. Liberty went to the remaining quarters of 27–6 runs.
New York scored 13 straight points, with Eansku’s basket left Liberty with a 55–53 lead in a period of 3:41. After continuous hops by Los Angeles, IonESCU submerged two trains in a 54 second interval for a 61–57 lead, and Liberty was entering 69–59 in the fourth.
The Hamb basket cut the sparks deficit with 3:15 to go to 81-76, but after a turnover by Cloud, Hamby missed the 3-point attempt and Fibich drew a 3-pointer to bring back the 3-pointer on the next possession.
