Hans Wolf’s goal, lead NYCFC on Toronto FC

Hans Wolf had a pair of goal contribution on Thursday night, leading to New York City FC 3–1 when he went to Toronto FC.

Wolf opened the scoring and assisted the goal of Kevin O’Tol, while Mitja Illnik had the second for New York (9–7–4, 31 points). With a win, New York has points in three out of four matches (2–1-1).

Tomas Romero set his own goal to Toronto, and cut the New York lead in half, but it is as close as visitors to visitors. Reds (4–11–5, 17 points) fell 2–4–2 in the match with a defeat this season.

1–0 lead, the Elinic doubled New York’s lead in the 49th minute, removing a cross from Agustin Ojeda to another of the season.

Ola Brinhildson had quality opportunities to get Toronto on the board.

In the 54th minute, his left leg shot was simply widened. Then, three minutes later, Romero stopped the head of Brianhildson from an Alonso Colo corner, the center of the box.

In the 70th minute, Romero got his own target Toronto on board. Keeper postponed the Theo Corbinu strike. This is the fourth aimed to be accepted by New York this season.

O’Tole restored a two -goal lead of New York in the 74th minute, with Wolf’s cross scene Johnson for his first season.

New York controlled possession in the first half and scored a single goal in the initial 45 -minute game.

Wolf opened the scoring in the 20th minute, in which Johnson was posted for his club-Agni ninth goal of the season and his left leg strike with the previous Johnson.

Thursday was the second of two meetings this season. New York City FC won 1–0 in Toronto on 26 April.
