The cub took out additional-inning win to sweep the struggling parents

Matt Shaw hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the 10th innings on Thursday, with Chicago cub defeated the Cleveland’s Guardian 1–0 to beat the three-game series.

Nico Horner started on a second basis as an automatic runner in the 10th, finished third on the groundout of Michael Busch against Emmanuel Class (4-2), and scored on Shaw’s Deep Fly Center Field.

One of the four Chicago Reluvers, Chris Flexon (5–0) scored the 10th innings to win.

Cleveland lost its season-high straight game despite excluding the cub 7-3. Parents have scored a total of 12 runs during their lost skid.

Joy Campratio started for parents in place of Louis Ortis, who was placed on non-disciplinary payment leave due to a major league baseball examination.

Campratio allowed three walks in the 3 1/3 scorer innings in the first beginning of the season and two hits with five strikes.

Eric Sabarowski replaced Campatiro with two runners and dismissed one in a fourth innings. When Busch came out, he implicated both the runners and Shaw went out.

The parents placed two runners out with one in the fifth innings, but the cub starter cad horten ran away when Bo Nayler was caught stealing in second place and was dropped by Brean Rochiyo.

Horton allowed two hits with two walks and five strikes in high seven innings of career. He threw 60 of his 90 pitches for strike and reduced his era to 4.15.

Cleveland placed two runners with one in the eighth innings against Drew Pomeranz. After Kyle went out of Manjardo, Ryan Brassier replaced Pomeranz and got Jose Ramirez to fly.

Pomeranz enhanced his line of not allowing runs for 26 games (23 1/3 innings) to start the season.

Ramirez went to Cleveland in his last 21 at-bats 0-for-4 and to his hit, which was 0-for-6 with runners in scoring positions and left eight runners on base.

The parents placed the leadoff man on the ninth on the single of Carlos Santana, but Ryan retired the next three batsmen in order.
