
Portland Timbers on Thursday shifted defender Claudio Bravo to Juniors in Argentina.
The 28 -year -old Argentina native joined Timbers in 2020 and scored two goals and 11 assistance in 108 matches.
“Claudio has been an important player within our group since arriving about five years ago. We are grateful to his contribution and commitment during his time with Portland Timbers,” General Manager Ned Grabwoy said in a statement. “We wish Claudio wishes because he returns home and starts the next chapter in his career.”
Bravo appeared in only eight MLS matches this season, which made three beginnings.
He played for the Banfield of Argentina from 2016-20 before joining Timbers.
