Marlins’ Eri Perez won the first win with 2023 win against twins

Yuri Perez played six scorer innings and allowed just one hit and a walk-because hosts Miami Marlins remained hot, defeated Minnesota Twins 4–1 on Thursday afternoon.
Marlins has won nine out of his last 10 matches. They have also strengthened in four straight chains.
Perez (1-2) won his first game since June 25, 2023. Perez, who missed the 2024 season after elbow surgery, began to enter the game from 0–2 in four 2025.
Ronnie Henriques started a scorer ninth innings to earn his fifth saving of the season. Reluvers Cad Gibson, Anthony Bendar and Calvin Foucher also contributed as Miami’s Bulpen provided three innings of one-run ball.
Agustin Ramirez gave a big blow to Miami’s crime, killing a two-run homer, who was traveling to the left-center at a distance of 425 feet. It was the 13th homer of the season in only 61 games for a stalled catcher and pre-proclamation probability.
Matt Walner supplied Minnesota’s crime with his homer in the seventh innings. This was his eighth part of the season.
David Festa (2-3) suffered losses, scoring five hits, one walk and four runs in six innings. He killed seven batsmen.
Festa immediately got into trouble, and, as he learned, not all solo is made equally.
Thus it was in Miami’s first innings. Xavier Edwards found a blue-hit with a exhaust velocity of 62.5 mph and Jesus went to third place at 106.5-mile per hour liner. Edwards then scored on the groundout of Otto Lopez, and Ramirez chased with his two -run homer.
Edwards again ignited things in the third innings, as he stole the song, stole the second and scored Jesus Sanchez’s hard-hit RBI Single to Center, leading to Miami 4–0 lead.
Volunner’s Homer 4–1 in the seventh cut Minnesota deficit. Walner hit a curve 2–1 from Gibson, and that ball traveled 430 feet for the dead center.
This was the fourth loss in five matches for Minnesota.
