Rockies Answer Astro’s run, final lead to win

Thiro Estrada sang at home, sung twice and scored four runs and Colorado Rockies held Houston Astro 7-6 at Danver on Thursday.

Colorado leadoff Hitter Tyler Freeman made two hits and extended his on-base Streak to 18 games. Jordan Beck, Orlando Arcia and Brenton Doyle also made two hits.

Juan Mejia (1-0) put an innings of relief and scored two runs on three hits to win. Starter Kyle Freeland allowed three runs, six hits and two walks with two strikes in six innings. Seth Helvorceon, after allowing three hits, picked up his seventh savings for Rockies and a run in the final 1 1/3 innings.

Houston Cleanup Hitter Cam Smith contributed three hits and three RBI and Isaac Parade, Jake Mayors and Jose Altuwe contributed two hits, as those first four batsmen scored five runs in the order.

The Rockies broke 5–5 tie in the seventh, with two runs against Reliever Jordan WAMS (0–1). Freeman sang, but was trying to score on Mickey Monic’s double at home. Bake chased with an RBI single to keep Colorado ahead, stole the other and scored at the single to center in Estrada.

Astros discontinued the difference in the ninth against Helvorson. The Mayors led Triple and scored on the groundout of Altuve.

Both teams scored twice in the first innings. The Mayors and Ultuve reached an-out single, Smith doubled to drive into the mayors and then Ultuve gave Houston a 2–0 lead over the groundout of the Christian Walker.

The Rockies tied it in half of his half when Estrada hit a two-out Homer, who was his second in the season, who also scored Freeman.

Astros went back to Parade’s RBI double in the second, but Rockies scored a run of tying in the third when the Kyle collided with a pitch, the bake doubled and Estrada was out to bring it to the farmer.

Colorado then took the lead in the fourth. Doyle and Arcia led the singles, and the two formed a basis on Austin Nola’s sacrifice distribution. Ryan Ritter followed Brandon Walter 5-3 with a blue single on the bridge-in infield to pull it up.

Walter left five innings without scoring five runs on eight hits with without walk and three strikes.

Parades did singles at the top of the seventh and with two outsiders, Altuway hit a double to the left. Smith chased to the center with another blue -hit that fell for a triple and brought both the runners home.
