Clayton Korsew Baseball’s 3,000 strikeout club may be the last man at the club

Clayton Karshaw recorded his 3,000th of his 3,000th career strike at the Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night, to do so Major League became the 20th writer in baseball history.

Whenever a long time the great reaches the milestone of such a career – especially a pitcher – people are surprisingly surprisingly whether it is the last.

In the case of Kreshaw, with a 3,000 strike, it can simply be.

Even though the modern game produces more strikes than ever, they spread between innumerable bullpen weapons that throw 100 mph or faster. The way MLB teams treated the pitcher these days, it seems a lot to go to seven innings. For most active players, any path for 3,000 strikes is going to be a narrow.

The next pitcher with a chance is the Left-Hander Chris Sale, who has 2,528 strikeouts and is about a year younger than Karshava. He is currently in an injured list with a broken rib, standing on a recent diving fielding effort. He is not expected to return by the end of August, so he is going to spend a few dozen KS. To reach 3,000, the possibility of sales will need to be thoroughly pitching beyond the expiry date of Corso.

A factor in favor of sales: He is now a better pitcher than Karshava. He won NL Sye Young in 2024 and made 114 strikeouts with 2.52 ERA in 89 1/3 innings before his injury, so he was performing with a shot like someone. But, similar to Korshev, he has not started 30 in a season since 2017.

Karshaws had a lot to go to it right to do it – even if he is considered one of the 10 or 15 best starting pitchers of all time. Dosters’ manager Dave Roberts said that before the game he would give Karshava, who had turned 37 in March, every appropriate opportunity to do so in front of the house crowd.

Carcris took a season-hai 100 pitches to Korshev, which to choose them the required three strikes, but he reached there. He also allowed four runs and nine hits, leaving the game behind White Sox by two runs in six innings. Dozers won 5–4 at the bottom of the ninth.

To celebrate the historical achievement, it was not a small idea to expand the Karash for Roberts. Doseers have several early pitches in the injured list, and push Karshaw in July – even a little risk. Karshaw seemed to be quite healthy through the start, although the fraud in playing baseball showed when Slogger Max MUSSI injured her knee on a third basis and helped to get out of the field. No, what the doseers wanted, and of course something on their mind, even he celebrated the achievement of Kersh.

It was not only the last leg for 3,000 Ks, which was running on some criteria for Karshava. This has recently been a slogan. He has introduced a joint 16 in the last two sessions due to injuries, and he has not started more than 30 since 2015. Karshev appears that she has put everything that she has done much.

If you look at the list of active pitches and their career strikes, then the only other Gerit coal is with potential adjacent shots at 3,000. She needs 749, but she is turning 34 and recovering from Tommy John surgery. Charlie Morton has 2,124 strikeouts, but will be 42 years old in November. U Darwish is only several other active pitches as a strike only 2,007, but he is injured in this season and will be 39 next month.

Another candidate, who can come to mind, has 786 strikeouts in the left -handed Tariq scubble, 680 1/3 innings. But he turned 29 in November and has to play 200 innings in a season so far. They cannot be considered anything, but as a dark horse, as they made their debut when they were near 24.

This is important for procurement and sale: they start both youth. In 2008, about two months after her 20th birthday, Korsew made her debut with Dozers. Sales joined the White Sox in 2010 when she was 21 years old.

If you are looking at Paul Scans, who started at the age of 21 and turned just 23 years old, he can be a boy in 15 years. There are so many things, and not, for him to reach 3,000 strikes. He is not yet at 300.

When any youth think of pitching pitch, Jacob Degrome’s career comes to mind. One of the best pitcher of his generation, Degrome started at the age of 26, hurt, just turned 37, and 3,000 to 1,234 strikeouts lower. Is not going to happen.

A good reason is only the 20th person to do this: to reach a 3,000 strike, it is some type of needle to do a few types of needles.
