Expansion Boston Heritage Annie Karich make the first signator

Midfielder Annie Karich is the first player signed by Boston Legacy FC to join the National Women’s Football League in 2026 to join the National Women’s Football League.

The team announced the signature on Wednesday.

Karich’s contract will run with an option for 2028 at the end of the 2028 season. He signed a free agent from Frun-Bundesleiga Club SC Frebberg, where he performed 36 in the last two sessions.

The 21 -year -old, an unspecified Leiga for the rest of the 2025, is on a loan for the MX Femaanil Club and will be inherited for Prince in January.

“We are very excited to welcome Annie Karich to Boston,” said in a news release by General Manager Dome Guasch. “Annie is a midfielder who brings a unique mixture of technical quality and strategic awareness. In his time in SC Frebberg, he has also proved his competition and maturity on the field. Annie has the ability to create real impact in our team. We are eager to support its development within our environment.”

Karich played two sessions at the college at Karich, a native California, Santa Clara and was named the West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. She was a member of the 2022 U20 Women’s World Cup roster.

“I want to learn to develop my overall game as a player and re -adapt to a new city, new team, and everything, and I am really excited to do so in Boston,” Karich said.
