Pirates shut down cardinals for second consecutive games

Henry Davis’s eighth-inning sacrifice fly on Tuesday night won hosts Pittsburgh Pirates on St. Louis Cardinals 1-0.
Pirates extended the streak of their victory into a season-hai five matches and faced the second consecutive loss after the line of three-game win to Cardinals.
St. Louis has been closed in each of its last four defeats. Earlier, cardinals were vacated only three times in their first 80 matches.
Pittsburgh scored 37 runs in the last four matches on Tuesday, but Pirates were scored for seven innings by Cardinals Starter Andre Paltte. A fourth-inning single by only one hit-ends in the right hand. Pallante released two walks and hit three.
The crime of the Pirates woke up in the eighth against the Reluver Phil Maton (1-3). Ke’bryan Hayes led his hitting streak with a single to increase the 10 games. The Pinch Hitter Adam Frasier chased with a blue-rolle double double, putting the runners in the second and third place, inside the right field line and out of the game.
Davis then sent a fly ball to the center field, which is enough to drive in a decisive run.
Great defensive plays by Pirates stopped the cardinals from scoring several times, including a drama in the ninth plate that preserved Pittsburgh’s leadership.
The second and third and one with the out runners, Victor Scott II killed the first Basman Spencer Horvitz, a grounder, who targeted Davis into a plate, who then tagged Jose Fermin. Nearly David Bedner killed Brendon Donovan and closed his 12th Save.
Pirates Ace Paul Scans, Kaleb Ferguson, Isaac Matton (2–0) and Bedner in ninth of the season of the United-Pitsburg for shutouts. This was the first time Pirates closed cardinals in the back-to-back game since 2012.
The scans played five innings, allowing five hits, walking on one and exiting five on 88 pitches.
Pittsburgh threw Fielder Tommy Fam to Wilson Contrass after single by Pedro pages to score the game in the fourth innings.
The contrarus reached the base when he was killed on the left hand by a scan fastball. He was removed from the game before the bottom of the fourth.
The Pirates won the series opener 7–0 on Monday, his fourth straightforward win at least seven runs, the franchise’s longest line since 1925.
