Reds and reds suspended from rain after three innings

Incessant rains in the Boston region suspended Tuesday’s game between Boston Red Sox and visited Cincinnati Reds at the top of the fourth innings. Red Sox took a 2–1 lead over the strength of a pair of the first innings.

The game will resume ET at 2:30 pm on Wednesday before the conclusion of the scheduled series regularly.

Red Sox needed only two batsmen to take an edge against Brady singer of Cincinnati. Jaren Duran and Roman Anthony cracked back-to-back doubles for the first run. After Anthony moved third on the fly ball of Abraham Toro, Narwaz made it 2–0 with an RBI single through the right.

Boston Starter Richard Fits worked around a leadoff walk to retire the next six raids before reducing the losses of visitors. Will Banson and Christian Encarneshian-Strand started the third with a continuous singles, then Banson worked on his home on TJ Freedal’s sacrifice divide Matt Macqueline’s RBI Groundout.

After allowing two runs and three hits in the first, the singer threw two hitless innings and showed three innings of work with four strikeouts and two walks.

Fits did not allow a hit outside Cincinnati’s run-scoring frame. He posted a strike and a walk in three innings.
