The owner of the crew sells a stake in the club on an $ 900 meter evaluation

The Hasalam Sports Group has sold a 10 percent stake to the Edwards family in the Columbus crew, which is in a $ 900 million franchise valuation, Sportico said on Tuesday.
The Edwards Family was already a partner in the MLS Club and now owns a 30 percent team with Halam Sports Group – the original company for Jimmy and De Haslam’s sports assets – to control the other 70 percent according to the report.
Earlier this year, Sportico ranked Columbus in MLS with a $ 730 million team valuation.
The team rejected publication request to comment on the transaction.
The crew won the 2023 MLS Cup and 2024 League Cup and sold almost every home match as Lower.com Field was opened at a cost of $ 314 million in 2021.
Hasalam Sports Group also owns NFL’s Cleveland Brown and has a controlled interest in NBA’s milk box.
