Vladimir Gurero Junior scored three runs, as Toronto Blue Jais defeated New York Yankiz 5–4 on Monday night in a four-game opener.
Gurroo’s two -run single in the sixth innings of four runs gave Toronto an edge as Blue Jais won for the fourth time in five matches.
