Harry Brook is one of the bright lights of world cricket. In the first innings of the Hadingley Test, he set a long way to establish the game for 99 England. As Vice-Captain prepares to take India in the second Test in Birmingham from Wednesday, Toy caught with a 26-year-old man who shared his views about victory, future plans and how AB de Villiers Bat has shared his views about his views. Part:

You guys have chased 350-plus which looks like a habit. What is the idea process in the dressing room when such goals are given to you?

In the headingley test, we were all very calm. We knew that we are going out and trying and chased whatever they set us. Getting six Indian wickets for 40 runs in the third innings probably became a little more calm, because there was a time when we were chasing 500-Runs … We knew what we are really going to do. The way Ben Docket and Zak Croly started the innings, it was unprecedented.

So is it a peace part and is a parcel of your mindset for such a difficult pursuit. And do you believe that even 450 plus can be followed – nothing is impossible?

Everyone knows that we are going to try and whatever they set us, so yes, who knows? 450 is a large clan, but one thing is sure, we will give it a good crack.

You were trying an attack on 0 in the first innings (from no-ball). Tried a big shot again at 99 and got out. Even in the second innings, you were attacking the first ball and exited. So, is it your habit that you hits on weak moments, or are such moments not present in your playbook?

Well, I have reflected a little on it last week, I should have found a pair in that game. Apparently, I got out of Bumrah from a no-ball, so I am very happy walking with 99 and playing an important role in that game. So yes, I just try and play the way I do. At 99, if you get a small ball, you probably have more likely than taking it at 0. I saw it as a scoring opportunity, and unfortunately, I made it straight to the ground.

India’s Sheli before 2 Tests. Jaiswal Shift, Kuldeep or Bumrah?

You have a lot of things about guys BazbalSo, has there been any change in your approach in recent times?

I don’t think too much, to be honest. I think we are just trying to play what we do. Obviously, you go about chasing slightly in different settings in different ways – perhaps take a little more time with the realization that you feel that you have got much more time than what you think. After saying this, we are still trying to play the way we want, just be more prominent and win more Test matches.

Fab Four (Kohli, Route, Williamson, Smith) of the last decade is on its way, not retiring. You and Shubman Gill There are next two big things of international cricket in forms. So, is there a situation for such a sinful-alcoholic cricket and how do you see this rivalry shaping?

(Smiles) Oh, God, no, I did not even think about that. He is clearly a very good player and hopefully I can play enough cricket for England to play against him many times. Looking at him last week, he is very good, plays the ball late and bowls fast. So hopefully we do not see much for the rest of this series. But yes, I am sure we hope that we will play a lot of cricket against each other.

There are many things Jasprit Bumrah In this series. Is it the best you have faced in your career? And do you think if he does not play, it will be a big benefit for you?

He is clearly a great bowler – releases it slightly with a strange angle and at the same time there is an amazing amount of skills. You just try and respect his good balls and attack his bad balls, in fact, like any other bowler. I think he had a good win with him last week. We are going to try and see all bowlers to keep under pressure; It does not matter who is bowling on us. But yes, if the team is missing the number 1 Test bowler in the world, it can expect it to make a difference.

Do you have a goal to move forward in the series? And do you have an idol on which you have made your game?

Yes, I try to set small goals, but I don’t like to tell anyone about them. I like to try and keep them with me. I have seen a lot of players growing up, try and put small parts of their game in the mine. As a child, I loved AB de Villiers Bat, watch her for hours and try what he is doing compared to other batsmen, making her so great. And obviously, there is a root on the side. I have spent a lot of time with him, talking to him about the game, and just learning on the job, really.

You will move beyond the route as England’s number 1 batsman. Can you just explain your chemistry with him?

Root and I play in the same domestic club, so we have spent a lot of time together. We are also from the same county (Yorkshire), so I played a good amount with him before playing for England. So, yes, we have got a good friendship, we speak a proper bit when we are around each other and spend a lot of time, whether it is in a net or from a pitch or on a golf course.,
