Corey Hem almost leads to wire-to-wire in winning in Lime Rock Park

NASCAR’s craftsman truck driver Corey Heim Florida 250 while qualifying for fresh from 250, in Detona International Speedway, Friday, February 14, 2025.

Corey Hem’s victory in the NASCAR craftsman truck series was not a matter of dominance of the first film in Lime Rock Park. It was a Barauni away from perfection.

Heim led 99 out of 100 in the 1.478-Mile Road course at Bookolic Lakeville, Connecticut to win Liuna! 150 – His fifth win of the season and 16th of his career.

After the escape of Matt Mills only the lap failed to lead the hem, came to a restart with five laps, when the matte mills ran away from the course and stayed near Turn 1 on Lap 90. Lean Riggs defeated Hem on Lap 96 on the Start/Finnish line, but first worked hard in the corner and stacked the ground behind it, set foot through two through two.

Apart from a lap, he did not lead, Hem’s performance was a model of continuous excellence. The driver of number 11 Tricon Garage Garage Toyota posted the fastest lap of the race at his second circuit (54.941 seconds), swept away in both stages, and posted a dramatic margin on his nearest followers in each of the first two volumes.

The Heim is the first driver in the history of the truck chain to win a three-direct road-correse race, winning the Mid-Ohio in 2023 and won the US circuit last year.

“Yes, it was nothing short of incredible,” Hem accepted. “These road courses-I really look forward to them, pre-phenomena and WhatsApp, and I really prepare for them, so to see all those who pay with (sponsor) saffles, trickens, Toyota, this is super special.

“Obviously, the truck was very good today. I cannot complain about that. An innocent day and we will take it and try and try and get some victory that we should have done this year.”

Reigning Series Champion Ty Majeski was the beneficiaries of the aggressive charge of the rigs in Turn 1 on the final restarted. Majesky inherited the runner-up position and crossed the finish line at 1.381 seconds behind the Hem.

“Honestly, we were struggling a little to set fire with the truck,” said Majski. “We continued to get it better in each run. So, it was closed at the end, there was a shot in the blank and perhaps Turn 4 found a little more enthusiasm, hit Ankush and ruined my shot and tried to make it a mistake at least slightly and tried to force him into a mistake.

“From there, he just got a lot of breathing room and was able to talk to himself. Overall, really good day. This is the point when I want to visit my season for IRP (Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park), Watkins Glenn and Richmund.

Ruki Giyavani Raggio participated in the third, followed by Ben Rhodes and Australian Cam Waters, as ThorSport Racing placed three drivers in the top five (Majeski, Rhodes and Waters).

Rigs turn 1 fell to 12th place during a scuffle and finished 13th. Road course Ace Jordan Taylor, who finished third in the first two phases, finished 20th in Finnish.

Heim started with the pole and led all 35 laps in stage 1, which was earlier taking advantage of 7.065 seconds on the second place rigs on the green/checker flag. A star in the sportscar rank, Taylor in third place, was 14.051 seconds in arrears in the first phase break.

After Lap 37, the race trucks came to the pit road for a controlled stop under red-flag conditions. Lap 40 did not bring any changes in front of the restarted ground. Hem approved the rigs through the first two corners and quickly expanded its profit on the second -place truck.

The second phase reflected the first. Heim defeated Rigs in the finish line for 7.281 seconds, in which Taylor in the third follower in 14.286 seconds. The two -phase victory for Heim was 13th and 14th in this season.
