Paris Saint-German Cruise Past Lionel Messi, Inter Miami

Atlanta-Paris St.-Germen easily eliminated Inter Miami and old friend Lionel Messi from the FIFA Club World Cup, putting Herons 4–0 in 16 rounds on Sunday.

Joao Nevs scored two goals before Miami’s goal and the strike by Achraf Hakimi made the margin four to four. European champions will face the winner between Bayern Munich and Flemego in the quarter -finals on Saturday.

Oscar Ustari recorded six saves for Inter Miami, while PSG’s Gianlouigi Donarumma had to make just three after making just three without Miami’s first 50 minutes of shot attempts. The match was facing Messi’s PSG for the first time since he was leaving the club and coming to America two years ago.
