Valkyries root storm to shut impressive homestand

Tiffany Hayes rolled a season-high 21-digit route on three 3-pointers and rolled the Golden State Volcaries contained by local favorite Stephen Curry and Megan Rapino to go to Seattle Storm 84-57 on Sunday night in San Francisco.

The major absence did not derail Valkyries, who scored 31 points in the 10-minute quarter, making a 65–44 lead. Burton hit 12 points in a hurry.
Hayes hit eight of its 13 shots from the field, leaving the Golden State dropped from 48.4 percent to 27 percent. The hosts excluded the storm 24–18 on 3-pointers, keeping Seattle beyond the 6-for-28 accuracy beyond the arc.
Burton had five rebounds, a team-high Five Assist and two blocks, which helped to add Vulcaries to an impressive homestand including a win over Indiana fever.
Digids shot 6 -for -13 for the storm, but his companions were harassed in a cumulative 14 -for -61. Digins also got time for game-hai six assistance with five rebounds.
Erica Wheeler had 13 points and Zia Cook added 10 to 10 from the bench to Seattle, opening a four game trip.
Storm star Naneka Ogwumike, a standout, was held for eight points in Stanford during his college days, the second youngest of the season. Take his season, his previous San Francisco Bay Area came to a return home when he scored six runs on 14 June.
