Hot Marlins looks for a sweep of diamondback

Miami Marlins will bring a season-winning streak in a three-game six-game final game against Arizona Diamondback in Phoenix on Sunday.

Marlins crossed the last two innings, 8-7, 10-inning victory on Saturday over a shortage of four runs as he won a series against diamondback. Miami made 11 hits on Saturday and has at least 10 in each game of its victory streak.

Marlins has won 12 of his last 17.

“There is a lot of confidence in each other now,” said Clayton McCulo, the manager of Marlins. “Very confident that we can win the game, and win the game in various ways.”

Marlins will oppose the right-handed Cal Quantril (3-7, 5.56 ERA) Diamondback Left-Hander Eduardo Rodriguez (3-4, 5.40) as Marlins look at a western swing 6–0.

Marlins Shortstop Oto Lopez and Ruki Catcher Agstein Ramirez Road Trip have been ringailed.

On the eighth Saturday of the three runs, Lopez’s two-run two-run Homer started returning with a shortage of 7-3. He extended his hitting streak into nine matches, during which he is 16 -for -37 with 13 RBI.

“A very confident player,” said Maculla. “We have a lot of faith in Otto and think that what we are seeing now is a version of Otto that can show continuously over time.”

Ramirez had three hits, including a single winning single in the 10th. He is four-for-for-22 with four couples, one Homer and six RBI on a five-match trip.

For Erizona, Katel Marte scored four runs on Saturday and Garaldo Paradomeo made three hits and scored twice, but Shelby Miller did not lead to 7-6 leads in ninth for his fifth blow sev on 14 occasions. Pardomo’s first-inning error led an unarmed run.

“The way I see it is that we are worthy of losing the game,” said Arizona’s manager Tori Lovullo. “We did not raise baseball in the first innings. We put ourselves in a situation that was very good. We have to play better, plain and simple.

“We are a .500 baseball team and are not happy about it, but we have to do anything about it. We cannot complain about it. We can’t think when it is going to happen. This is going to happen when we do so.”

Quantril, who has not given more than three earned runs in his last nine initial, is 1-3 with 6.19 ERA in seven career performance (six beginnings) against Arizona.

The Rodriguez enters after its most effective start of the season, when he scored 10 runs in a 10–0 winning innings of 10–0 win in Chicago White Sox on Monday. He is 2–1 with 2.05 ERA in 22 innings since he returned from the injured list.

Rodriguez defeated Marlins 6–4, when Diamondback completed a three-game sweep in Miami on 17 April, scoring three runs (one earned) on 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings. She is 2–1 with 5.74 ERA in three careers against Miami.
