Bojan Bogdanovic retires after 10 NBA season

Bojan Bogdanovic announced his retirement on Sunday after 10 NBA sessions with six teams citing injuries.

“Sometimes in life, you don’t choose the moment. The moment chooses you,” 6-Foot-7 forward wrote in a social media post.

“After battling a toe in 14 months, two surgery and countless attempts to return to court have come to close a chapter.”

Bogdanovic, who was born in Bosnia and Herjegovina and played for Croatia internationally, was number 31 overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. He chose to play professionally in the Euro League until 2014, until he joined Brooklyn Nets, who put his draft rights.

He spent the first 55 game nets of the 2016-17 season, then ended the campaign with Washington Wizards after the trade-dedeal deal. She also played with Indiana Pamen (2017-19), Utah Jazz (2019-22), Detroit Piston (2022-24) and New York Nix (2024).

He missed the 2024–25 season due to a leg injury. Narak traded her in the nets as part of a multi-plague deal before the 2024 season, and the nets eventually waived her.

Now 36, Bogdanovic has a career average of 15.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 aid in 719 regular-season games (starting 572). He an average of 39.4 percent from the 3-point range.

His younger brother, Bogdan Bogdanovic, is on the roster of Los Angeles Clippers.
