Jake Paul almost performed well on the promise of his Thursday’s press conference, unanimously defeated Julio Caesar Chavez Junior. He took 99–91, 97–93 and 98–92 cards in Cruiserweight Action on Saturday night in Anaheim, California.

Paul (12–1, 7 kos) failed to find a knockout on Chavez (54–7-1, 34 kos), but his volume, speed and activity was enough to exclude the charismatic star.

Although Paul was not his regular self, he told Ariel Halevani in the ring post-fight that it is to make something.

“He is a difficult, strict man,” said Paul. “Never stopped. He is a Mexican warrior. I respect Mexican warriors. I respect Mexico, but I am also a warrior and I have come to the top.”

What is next for Paul, there is a limit to the sky in his mind.

“I want difficult fighters,” said Paul. “I want to be a world champion.”

Paul said that he would return after some time to remain active at the end of this year.

“I will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime, from any place.”

Chavez was decent in defeat after joining Paul in the ring.

“He is not ready for the champion, but he is a good fighter,” said Chavez.

Here is how the fight was played.

Round 1 was a slow start for Paul and Chavez. While Paul circled and found a house for his jab, Chavez failed to strike a single strike. Round 2 was a lot, as Paul continued to feel the Mexican legend.

Rounds were extremely taxedarmical from 3-7 Chavez, as Paul found that he found the panches, before each, a precise micro world of one.

By round 10, Chavez had raised speed with some clean combinations in the last two rounds, but nothing to return to spring.

Paul does not care who he fights further, but he reminded his lone slavery, Tommy Fury (11–0, 4 kos) to tease “running run”, a possible rematch.
