The Seattle Storm will get an opportunity to add to an impressive list of revenge in the initial WNBA season, when they visit Golden State Volcaries on Sunday night in San Francisco.

Kayla Thornton had 22 points as part of a double-dobbal, when Volcaries surprised the storm that occurred at 76–70 on 14 June.

Golden State got a joint 30 marks from two players which cannot be available for rematch. Tammy Phagbanel, who had 16 points in winning and seven rebounds, has yet to play since returning from the Eurobacket tournament, while the early point guard guard Carla Leight missed a back injury in the last three matches.

Vulciris remain without three other people who have participated in the World Cup qualifier in Greece, Julie Vanlu has made it in Sunday’s finals with Belgium, while Genel Salon (France) and Cecilia Zandalasini (Italy) will go to the head in the third place game of Sunday.

The Golden State has since got Tiffany Hayes back from a nose injury. He assisted 13 points, five rebounds and four on Chicago Sky on Friday for a domestic victory of 83-78.

Thornton found the way with the best 29 points of the career as she continues to win fans among her new colleagues.

“I mean, it’s beyond basketball,” Kate Martin evaluated. “She is a tremendous person … but also an unprecedented basketball player. You can learn a lot from Katie and how she plays. I really are happy that she is getting all the success she is getting. She deserves it, and I am thankful that I am her teammate.”

Digids were the top scorers of Seattle in the earlier loss to Vulkiris with 21 points.

The storm has the opportunity to avenge three of their six deficit, and they have been successful three times, beating the tables on Las Vegas Aces, Minnesota Links and Phoenix Mercury.

Seattle took a similar view in Friday’s game against The Sun, which was the first action of the club since the loss of Indiana fever at 94-86 on Tuesday.

“We wanted to make a better effort on Tuesday,” Digins assured. “We wanted to remove this team quickly.”

The win was Seattle’s fourth in five matches since the last visit to San Francisco. At 10-6, the Storm is now 1.5 games ahead of 8-7 Vulkiris in Standing.
