WTA Roundup: Linda Noskova Bed Homberg joined three high seeds in semis

Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic made a harassment and upgraded to face the number 1 Jessica Pegula in the semi -finals, survived to scare three sets on Thursday at the Bad Homberg Open in Germany.

Noskova took Russian third seed Mirra Andreeva below 6-3, 6-3. He never lost his service, saving the three brake points and closed the Polish Andreeva in 78 minutes. Pegula passed a difficult test from number 5 Emma Navaro 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 in the All-American Battle.

The other semi -finals will beat Italy’s No. 2 Seed Jasmine Paolini and Poland’s No. 4 Seed Ega Swetek in rematch of their 2024 French Open Finals. Paolini lagged Brazil’s Beatries Hadad Mia 7-5, 7-5, and Swiatech beat Russia’s number 8 Seed Ekaterina Alexandrova by 6-4, 7-6 (5).

Lexus Eastborne Open

Anastasia Paviluchenkova carried forward partner Russian Kamila Rakhimova 6-2, 2-6, 6–0 to proceed for all the last four in Eastbourne, England.

Pawalichenkova dropped Rakhimovwa out 9–0 in the match and saved 11 out of 13 break points. She jointly defeated Russian Anna Blinkova 6-4, 7-5 to face the Maya United of Australia.

Alexandra, the Philippines, was 6–1, 6–2 on the Dayana Yastrimca of Ukraine. The semi -final rival of the EALA will be Varawara Gracheva of France, who advanced through the walkover when the check was withdrawn due to another seeded Barbora Crazikova, the ruled Wimbledon Champion, a thigh injury.
