The possibility of Bangladesh tour of India is likely to proceed in August, Suryakumar Yadav suspect

There is no instructions for the Government of India to postpone the tour of India for Bangladesh, the White-Ball series is likely to move forward on August.
Despite the speculation about the adjournment of India’s visit to Bangladesh in August, the White-Ball is likely to move forward according to the series plan. With the deteriorating diplomatic relations between India and Bangladesh since Sheikh Hasina was out of the government in August last year, the fate of the Indes vs Ban series looked foggy.
However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not discussed the plan to postpone the tour. India will play three ODIs and several T20I starting on August 17. If the tour proceeds, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will return to Odis for the first time after announcing the retirement. But India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is suspicious after surgery for a sports hernia.
“Currently, the series continues. We have no discussion about the cancellation of the adjournment or chain. We have not received any instruction from the government on cancellation of the series. If such a situation arises, we will call accordingly,” A BCCI official told the Insidesport.
IND vs. Bain Series back on track
The New Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), which was to go through an overhaul of its officials, announced the schedule in April. Odis will begin on August 17 in Mirpur and end on August 23 at Chatogram. The three-match T20I series will begin on 26 August and end on 31 August.
India has not won an ODI series in Bangladesh since 2014. Back with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, this will be a chance to win and end India’s 11 -year -old Zinc. Last time India played an ODI series of three matches in Bangladesh, India led by Rohit Sharma suffered a 1-2 series.
India has never played bilateral T20I series in Bangladesh. This will be the first time the defending World T20 champion will play a three -match T20I series in Bangladesh. In the most recent T20I series against Bangladesh at home, India hovering to win a 3–0 series.
Suryakumar Yadav suspect
However, if the IND vs. Ban T20 series moves as the series moves, then India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav can be remembered. Suryakumar recently performed a successful surgery for a sports hernia in the lower right stomach in Munich, Germany. They are expected to fit in two months, which will make them suspects for the IND vs Ban T20I series. If he is not fit until then, Exer Patel is likely to lead the team.
While India’s Test Captain Shubman Gilli is the vice-captain of the T20I team, he is likely to rest with the Test side players for the tour of England.
The IND vs ENG Test series ends on 4 August. In two weeks time, IND vs Ban ODI series will begin. Therefore, most of the test players are likely to rest, including Gill, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah. Instead, this will be a chance for head coach Gautam Gambhir to try some players in ODIs in preparation for the World Cup 2027.
However, if the Asia Cup is scheduled in 2025 September, the BCCI Selection Committee may miss some players for the T20I series. The Asia Cup will be the only multi-national tournament before the T20 World Cup 2026. Team India will play 15 and T20I after the Bangladesh series. Therefore, there is a chance that BCCI stops all players in India’s squad for England, some prevent some.
