Sam Sai’s Hat Trick Powerrs Nashville SC Past Revces

Major League Soccer’s leading scorer Sam Sarij on Wednesday created a hat trick to help Nashville SC win 3–2 after a 3–2 victory over the New England Revolution in the month.

Sarij now crossed the league with 15 goals crossing the 13 of Philadelphia’s Tai Bribo, while leading Nashville (10–4-5, 35 points) to increase his second direct victory and increased his unbeaten line to 10 games (6–0-4).

Nashville, who made 15 shot attempts for Nine of New England and scored six goals for four of New England, not lost since April 19.

New England (6-6-5, 23 points) dropped their second direct game after a 10-day stretch without a game. Tomas Chenkele scored and assisted for the revolution, who first tied Nashville to the season opener 0–0.

Nashville tied the game 1–1 just before Haftime, Revs took the lead in the 49th minute, as Brian Sebalos scored his first goal of the season on a header assisted by Chankele.

Exactly two minutes later, Daniel Lavitz of Nashville gave a header from Honey Mukhtar a nearby header. Sirij made contact with the ball near the goal line. Initially Lakshya was credited to Lavitz before credit, before he received credit later, but in any way, Nashville again tied the match.

Nashville then grabbed his first lead on the last goal of Sarij, it came to a 58th -minute penalty kick, as Mamdou Fofana inflated Mukhtar.

The first shot attempt of the game came in the 11th minute, as Mukhtar’s corners became empty. New England hit for the first time in the 15th minute, in which Carls Gill found Chankele, whose left leg shot Joe Willis gave the revolution a 1-0 lead.

Mukhtar and Sirij made an attempt rescued by Aljaz Ivasik in the 25th and 28th minutes respectively.

In the second minute of the first-huff stops time, Sarij scored with a header in the lower left corner on the aid of Jonathan Perez.
