Why is Yuvraj Singh not coaching in IPL? Yogaj Singh Answer

Jovaj Singh, catch Yuvraj Singh’s father, had to say about his son’s absence from any coaching role in the IPL.
Yogaj Singh has answered the burning question of many Indian cricket fans – why is Yuvraj Singh not in any coaching role, especially in the Indian Premier League (IPL)? It is a common belief that almost all Indian players either play coaching or mentorship roles or become a cricket expert after their game career. While Yuvraj has done some commentary stents, he has never been a professional coach in IPL history.
Will Yuvraj Singh follow his colleagues?
One of the best white balls of India so far, Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement in 2019, with his final international match in 2017. In the IPL, he played 132 games, representing six different franchises in total.
Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Dinesh Karthik, Ajit Agkar, Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan and many other former comrades of Yuvraj are either coaches in some capacity. Even Sachin Tendulkar has been associated with Mumbai Indians (MI) since his retirement in 2013. MS Dhoni was India’s patron in the 2021 T20 World Cup.
According to Yogaj Singh, however, it is Yuvraj’s personal choice not to take any coaching role. However, he also made Gautam Gambhir and Ajit Agkar a successful coach. As we all know, both serious and fire are currently the center of Indian cricket, with serious coaches and Agkar is the chief selector.
“This is his personal decision (why Yuvraj Singh is not coaching in the IPL). He is much bigger. He is bigger than life.
It is important to note that Yuvraj, who joined an IPL team as a coach before IPL 2025, had several reports. While Gujarat Titans (GT) saw Ashish Nehra to change with him, Delhi’s capitals (DCs) were also allegedly interested in.
