WTA Roundup: IGA Swiatek won a milestone in Bad Homberg

Czech second seed Barbora Crassicova served in the third set by saving two match points with the British Wild Card Herriot Dart and went to win his first round Grass-court match in Eastborne, England.
2024 Wimbledon Champion Kreasicova won 6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-5, compiling five aces and converted 6 out of 7 break points. Dart changed all its brake-point opportunities in the match for two hours, 40 minutes.

Slovakia’s eighth seed Rebecca Srimkova won in straight sets, as by the British Barage. Russian Kamila Rakhimova and Varwara Granchewa of France set three to win.
