RAYS SS Wander Franco faced 5 -year jail duration

Prosecutors on Monday recommended a five -year prison sentence for Wander Franco, suspended at Tampa Bay Rays Shortstop, who is accused of sexually abusing a minor in his original Dominican Republic.

With the arguments completion, a panel of three judges would begin discussions and the Presiding Judge case stated that he would announce a decision on Thursday.

Franco also faced allegations of human trafficking and sexual abuse of a minor who was at that time with a girl who was 14 years old. However, allegations of sexual misconduct are being followed only, according to a release from the Public Prosecutor’s office.

Meanwhile, Franco’s defense team claims that there is a lack of evidence and arguing to completely dismiss the case according to ESPN.

The prosecutors requested a 10 -year jail for the victim’s mother, alleging sexual exploitation and money laundering of minors that they are allegedly to accept money for consent for a relationship with Franco.
