Trevor Rogers, Jackson Holiday O’s Styie Rangers help

Jackson Holiday played a three-run domestic run and one run-scoring double and Trever Rogers played eight shutouts, as Baltimor Oriols beat Texas Rangers 6–0 for opening a three-game series on Monday night.

Rogers (1-0) held the rangers in three singles in their third Big-League outing of the season, in three singles in eight frames (101 pitches). He hit four without walking.

This marked its first win with the Baltimore organization. He last won in July 2024 with Miami Marlins before Orioles’s trade.

Andrew Kitredrad acted in an ideal ninth innings, requiring only five pitches to complete the game.

Holiday racked three hits and Ramon Laureno doubled a double between his two hits for Baltimore, with eight players with at least one hit. All the four RBI RBI came with two outs.

Rangers did not threaten, implicated three runners and recorded only one plate appearance with a runner in the scoring position. Texas lost for the third time in its last nine road games.

Rangers Starter Patrick Corbin (4-7) allowed five runs and nine hits in a five-flour innings. He hit six without walking.

Oriols, who pulled two-game losers after coming out of the 3-4 road trip, opened scoring on the third inning double of the holiday. It went into the Chadwick Tump, which reached the base on two doubles.

The trump was in its first game after being called from Triple-e Norfolk, as injuries replaced the roster of the bucket during the weekend.

The ninth domestic run of the holiday season came to take a 4–0 lead in the fifth innings.

The holiday has two-three-hit outings in a four-game interval.

The margin with a groundout of Kobi Mayo rose in sixth place, and the score reached 6–0 in the seventh on the sacrifice of Ramon Urias.
