‘Longevity is an achievement’: Kieron becomes the first to play 700 T20 matches, during MLC, gets cricket news
Kieron Pollard marked a major milestone in his brilliant T20 career as he played his 700th T20 match during Mi New York’s recent clash in Major League cricket. Next to the game, the franchise shared a hearty video of an experienced West Indian who reflected his journey and still reflecting him on the inspiration. Pollard spoke clearly about his fight with injuries over the years, including a career-dreaded eye injury and two ACL tears in 2010. He credited his flexibility to support his loved ones and support his permanent passion for sports. Pollard said, “To play 700 games in longevity in sports and any format of cricket, I think there is an achievement in itself. I have to give credit to myself.”
He said that his biggest inspiration is now his son, who likes to watch him on TV and inspires him to keep moving.
