WTA Roundup: Lulu Sun defends champion Daria Kastkina in Eastborn

Wimbledon quarterfinalist Lulu Sun emerged at the top to defeat the number 1 seed and defeat champion Daria Kastkina 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, Defending Champion Daria Kastkina at Eastborn Open on Monday.

Dealing with banging circumstances, New Zealand’s Sun replaced 6 out of 6 break points in the first set and held rallies with a deficiency of 5-4 on its way to shut down the initial frame.
