ATP roundup: Alexandre Muller Falls of France in Spain

Roman Safiulin of Russia sent fifth seed Alexandre Muller from France with 7-6 (5), winning the first round game on the grass at the Mallorca Championship in Spain. Safiulin entered the match at 75th position in the world, while Muller was at number 40.

The sixth seed Gabriel Dialo of Canada paid attention to the Center Court 7-5, 6-3 to Spain’s Jom Munar. A 19-year-old American, learner TN, handled 17-year-old German Justin Engel 6-4, 6-4. His prize is a second round match with top seeded Ben Shelton.

Ethan Quinn and Serbia’s Hamad Medjodevic directly won, while France’s Corentin Mutet and Arthur Rinderken required three sets to claim their round 1 win. Rinderknech leads Canada’s second seeded Felix to Ogar-Aliasim in the next round.

Lexus Eastborne Open

The sixth seeded Alejandro Davidovich Fokina needed an hour to secure the first set against Choon-Haseen Tseng on Monday, which is 7-6 (6), Eastborn, England before confiscating control for the first round of victory.

Spain’s 26 -year -old Fokina ever led the tiebreaker in the initial sets, until the two players served the grass. Tseng of Chinese Tapel fought a match point in a tiebreaker before falling.

Italy’s Lorenzo Songo and Matia Beluchi also won in straight sets. Daniel Evans of Great Britain defeated Serbia’s Miomir Kekmanovic 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 to moved forward for the second round match against number 2 Seed Tommy Paul. Joao Fonseca of Brazil will face top seed Taylor Fritz after rally to defeat Belgian’s Zizau Bergs 6-7 (8), 6–0, 6-3.
