WTA Roundup: Market Wondrasova wins the first title in 2 years

Market Wondrasova captured his first WTA title since winning Wimbledon in 2023 by defeating Xinyu Wang in three sets at the Berlin Open on Sunday.

McCartney Casler won his third WTA final and defeated Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine 6–4, Nottingham, 7–5 in England.

In the first set of the match, the players surpassed the interruption of about two hours – for more than 94 minutes of game. Casler is estimated to air in the top 40 in the rankings when updated to the list on Monday.

While serving 5-3 in the second set, Yastremska fought five match points, then broke the service of the casteler in the match. But Casler returned with his own break to take a 6-5 lead, then served for the match.
