Indiana Paise Star Tieres Heliberton was helped to remove from the court and was immediately taken to the locker room after a serious injury to her right leg during the first quarter of the NBA final on Sunday night.
Haliburton, a pass, was leading to 18–16 with Oklahoma City Thunder and when he fell on the floor in clear pain, he was driving towards the basket. Heliberton extended the floor with his hand several times.
He was unable to put weight on the leg as Haliberton was helped in the locker room.
Haliberton is playing through a stressed right calf, an injury that had caused her during the loss of Sports 5 of Indiana in Oklahoma City. When he left the game, he scored 16 points of pacers by killing a 3-pointer trio.
