Roundup: Jee So-Yun Shines during the rule of Royals

Zee So-Yun had a goal and two assist and Emery Adams scored two seconds of goals to help the Seattle Rain FC 4–1 on Utah Royals in Sandy, Utah on Saturday afternoon.

Maddy Dahlian also scored as Seattle (6-4-3, 21 points), extending her unbeaten streak to three matches (2–0-1).

Bianca St-Georges scored the last place on a rebound for Utah (1–10–2, 5 digits), which lost his fourth direct match and fell to 0–7-1 in his last eight matches.

G ruled the board in the sixth minute when he sent a right leg shot to the left corner of the net. Ten minutes later, Dahlian tapped a right-leg shot towards the net, in which Royals defender Ana was unable to go to Tejada.

Utah scored in the 31st minute when Ellie partially stopped the right-to-leg shot from outside the box and hit the left goalpost with a partial Claudia Dike of Seattle. Uncontrolled St.-Jorges easily knocked it.

Seattle participated in the second half as G was surrounded by three defenders in the 66th minute and widening Adams slipped a pass, which drilled the left leg shot in the net. The 19-year-old Adams added a left-foot penalty-kick goal in the first minute of the second-half stoppage time.

Gotham FC2, Bay City FC1

Gase scored a tiebracing goal and Esther Gonzalez also found behind the net as Gotham ralled to shut down the Bay City in Harrison, NJ.

The 55th minute scored a Go-Farward goal when Nelly Martin sent a long pass updield. Both Gase and Gonzalez were chasing the ball and Gase reached there first and took a small right-leg on the hand of Bay City goalkeeper Amy Ellen. Jeet was the second straight for Gotham (5-5-3, 18 digits).

Penelope Hawking scored for Bay City (4-6-3, 15 points), who lost his second direct game. In the 76th minute, a wide open Hawking had a chance for his second goal, but he sent just a wide left left-leg of the net.

Hawking’s target in the 11th minute gave Bay City a 1-0 lead. He chased a ball close to the net and took him to the back of the Gotham goalkeeper N-Caturin Berger and then tapped it in the net.

Gotham tied the score in the 30th minute, when Sarah Shupansky stole the ball inside the Bay City box. He immediately fed Gonzalez, who sent a shot shot of Allen. Gonzalez extended its NWSL round-scoring lead to 10.

Courage 2, dash 1

Jaedyn Shaw scored to bind in the 71st minute and Hannah Betfort provided 10 minutes later to the winner as North Carolina ralled Houston to win in Carrie, Neck.

Every Patterson scored runs for Dash (3-8-2, 11 points), who lost his third straight match and stood 0–4–1 in his last five matches.

Houston’s Sarah Pantigam scored both Northern Carolina goals after attracting the second yellow card of the match, leaving the Red with an automatic upgrade in the 69th minute and leaving the dash with just 10 players.

First, Malia Barkli went ahead and sent a pass to Shaw, who drilled a right-foot shot in the right corner of the net. In the 81st minute, Manaka Matsukubo sent a cross towards the net and Betford implicated it in the net as courage (5-5-3, 18 points) won its second direct match.

Houston hit in the initial minutes as Patterson ran a left leg shot on the left side of the Northern Carolina goalkeeper Casey Murphy.
