Ian hap in the form of power grooves face cubs

Ian Hap prefers to think of itself as a table setter for the Chicago cub, but he recently performs more like his cleanup hitter.
Hap has scored four domestic runs in the last three matches in the leadoff spots for the cub, who will try to win the rubber match of his three-game series against Seattle Meriners on Sunday afternoon.
Happ has worked in the first innings of the last two matches, who has become the first Chicago player to hit the leadoff home run at the back-to-back games since Anthony Rizo in June 2017.
“When the wind is flowing in this way, you are getting the ball in the air, you have got a chance,” Hap said after hitting two home runs in a 10–7 victory on Saturday.
The situation on Saturday played a big role, as six domestic runs approve the fence in all, including the 30th home run -powered 30th home run of the season for Seattle Catcher Cal Rale, leading the lead league.
Three outfield flies and a popup behind the house plate also went wrong due to the wind, and the frequent heat claimed that the house plate umpire Chad Whitson is going to the top of the sixth, and the Seattle Reluver Trent Thornton at the bottom of the eighth.
Happy said, “We have played a ton game with flying in the air, and we have not played much this year, where you are blowing air.” “It’s coming down the balls are changing. It is getting 10-20 feet extra in those last parts of seconds. Therefore, you are struggling with the sun, you are struggling with the air, just trying to go to the right place.”
The right -handed Logan Gilbert is ready to start the end of the series for meriners.
Gilbert (1-2, 2.55 ERA) will make a second start in the injured list since a seven-week tenure in the injured list due to a correct elbow flexor tension.
He allowed two runs and three hits in five innings in his return last Monday against Boston Red Socks, exiting 10 and walking one for walking. Gilbert did not get any run support for domestic loss of 2–0.
Gilbert said, “I was really grateful to play and do something that I like and do it for a job.” “There is much more than just going out, the mid-session baseball game. It felt like a big deal for me.”
Gilbert said that he is just trying to keep things simple, knows the batsman’s tendency and hits his goals.
“I originally have two goals,” he said. “We always talk about being really stubborn where we want to go.”
Gilbert said that his goal is to get two strikes on the batsman as soon as possible and then rely on Rale to finish him.
“I think he reads the batsmen really well,” Gilbert said. “Knows when to go to the splitter, when to go in opposite directions, that kind of goods.”
Gilbert started the cub against him in his initial, causing one run and four hits in 6 2/3 innings of 5–2 road win on April 12, 2023.
The cub is planning to start the right -handed colin Ri on Sunday.
The REA (4–2, 3.84) did not decide in its most recent beginning after allowing two runs and four hits in six innings of 3–2 innings against Pittsburgh Pirates on 15 June.
Ri made three debut in his career against Seattle and 16 1/3 is 1-0 with 5.51 ERA in innings.
