Curacao saves 1-1 tie with late target against Canada

Canada gave a golden opportunity to strangle its group on Saturday at the ConcacAF Gold Cup in Houston, abandoning an additional time lead and settling for a 1–1 tie against Kuracao.
Canada still leads Group B with four points after two games, but now Kuracao has overtaken Al Salvador with two points. Canada will face Al Salvador on Tuesday, while Kuracao takes the futile to Honduras.
About four minutes in additional time 1-0, Canadians lost possession of midfield amid scavenging, and Joshua Zimraman of Kuracao collected the ball, in which team partner Jeremy Antonis freed his left.
Antonis made a long round to earn one opportunity against goalkeeper Denne St. Clare, scored twice, then scored through netminder for equal.
Nathan Saliba scored a Canada goal in the ninth minute, gathered a free kick deflection and buried a strike to the left under the net.
