Dream the Mistake Rally to claim victory

Elisha Gray scored a team-high 18 points on Friday, as Atlanta Dream closed a fierce rally by visiting Washington mystics at College Park, GA.

Brianna Jones added 14 points and Rin Howard chased 13 for The Dream (9-4), who won his fourth game in five attempts. Jordan Canada had 11 points, while Britney Grinner scored 10 points and seven rebounds.

Shakira Austin had a season-high 28 points and 10 rebounds for Washington (5-8), which dropped his eighth game in 11 attempts. Brittany Cyx added 21 points and eight assistance and Sonia Citron scored 17 runs in the loss.

The mysticists reduced their deficit with less than seven minutes over seven minutes, which survived the second triple of the Citron game. Canada and Austin then traded the paste before six directly Atlanta Free Throw, making the lead to 13 with the remaining 5:29.

After taking a 24–22 lead in the second quarter, Atlanta’s advantage increased to 13 with less than a minute in the first half as Howard and Grinner’s paste started 6–0 to push the margin by 47–34. Sykes’ free throw and Austin’s paste pulled the halftime-define of Mistics to 47-38.
