The Chicago cub will need to try some new ways against Cal Rale when they host Seattle Meriners in the competition between their three-market sets on Saturday afternoon.

On Friday, the series opener did not work against Seattle Catcher when he scored the 28th and 29th domestic runs of the season. He sang, stole, stole a base and scored four times in the 9–4 win.

Raley sent a fastball to the fence in the center for a 1-0 lead in the first innings.

In the seventh, he broke 4-4 tie by hitting another fastball on the left side for a two-run homer. Raley passed the Hall of Famer Johnny Bench for the most domestic run by a catcher before the all-star break, which is still three weeks away.

“He is closed,” said Dan Wilson, the manager of the mericars. “It is a necessity for the heater to stay on time. If you are on time for the heater, you can give yourself an opportunity with another.

Relley, 28, got a chance to meet the bench in the previous offsen at Rolings Glove Banquet and nurtured the occasion.

“Is there a wonderful baseball mind,” Rale said after a win on Friday. “To spend two hours with him either was just talking about baseball. It was like a dream to come true. I was a small child again. Really fun experience, and was very grateful for that occasion and I learned a lot.”

Raley said that he conforms to his approach to kill.

“Trying to stay in the middle, looking for a mistake to hit,” he said. “Sometimes the pitcher, sometimes they do not.

Right -handed Cad Horton will be tasked to cool the rale when the cub starts on Saturday. Horton (3–1, 3.47 ERA) will create the eighth appearance of its crook season and its first vs. Seattle.

He recently threw 5 2/3 shutouts in his team’s 2–1 defeat to Pittsburgh Pirates in 10 innings on 13 June. Horton was matched against the National League Ruki of the Year last season, Right-Hand Paul Scans, who threw five shutouts.

“It’s fun. Iron intensifies iron,” said Horton. “It was really fun to be able to compete against him and, hopefully, we’ve been doing it for many years.”

In the 2022 MLB draft, the seventh overall pick horton has impressed the teammates of the team with their aggression against the hits.

Chicago outfielder Ian Hap said, “He has a great mindset.” “I think they have a really good mound’s presence, and they have the right attitude for it. And the ability to throw the strike and the ability to fill the zone is super important. It helps them to achieve some length in sports.”

Meriners planned to start Emerson Hancock on Saturday.

Hancock (3–2, 4.48 ERA) is coming out of an extraordinary outing, causing no runs in two hits and seven innings in a 6–0 win against Cleveland Guardians last Sunday.

The right-handed batsman made his debut against the cub on April 13, 2024, and a 4–1 necklace caused losses after two runs and four hits in six innings.
