Angels Manager Ron Washington (Health) indefinitely

Ron Washington, the manager of Los Angeles Angels, would not manage the team indefinitely due to a health concern, General Manager Perry Minsian told reporters on Friday.

The nature of Washington’s health disease is unknown.

The bench coach Ray Montgomery will serve as interim manager, which will begin with the game of Friday night against Houston Astro. The 55 -year -old Montgomery is in his fourth season in Angel’s coaching staff.

73 -year -old Washington is expected to watch Friday night’s game from a suite inside the Angel Stadium.

Washington is in its second season with Angels and a record of 99–137 with the team. Los Angeles is 36–38 this season.

Overall, Washington holds 763–748 records in 10 sessions. He directed Texas (2007–14) to the World Series in 2010 and 2011, losing every time the Rangers.

Angels also rejected the right fielder George Solar (Back) in the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. The 33 -year -old season is batting with eight homes and 26 RBI in 67 matches in this season and is a 199 career homer in the 12 seasons.

Los Angeles recalled outfielder Gustavo Campro from Triple-e Salt Lake in a similar step. He was batting with two homes .320 and bees with 17 RBI in 32 matches.

The 27 -year -old camper is batting. 232 with a homer and six in the last two sessions in 18 major league games.
