Charlie Woods wins the playoffs to reach us Junior Amateur Championship

Charlie Woods qualified for his second direct US Junior Amateur Championship with a clutch playoff win.
With his famous father, in the presence of 15 -time prominent winner Tiger Woods, 16 -year -old Woods placed two other golfers to claim the final qualifying spot at Eagle Tres Golf Club in Coral Springs, Fla on Thursday.
Woods shot 1-under 71, but forced the last hole to be in the fifth place with Oscar Crowe and Matthew Marygliano for a pladoff.
Woods will include the top four finishers-Etha Sinha (67), Lucas Jimnez (68), Sohan Patel (69) and Yoli Inman (69) -US Junior Amateur in Trinity Forest in Dallas from July 21-26 in Junior Amateur. Cro and Marigliyano will be optional.
The 49 -year -old Tiger Woods was a three -time American Junior Amateur Champion before going to win the 82 PGA tour title.
Charlie Woods, who cut last year’s junior amateur at Oklaland Hills in Michigan, won their first junior tournament title at Team Taylormade Invitational in Bowling Green, Fla last month.
