Sri Lanka fought back on Day 3 of the Test against Bangladesh, thanks to Pathum Nissanka’s career-best 187. He formed match-saving partnerships, including a 157-run stand with Dinesh Chandimal. Nissanka’s knock helped Sri Lanka reach 368/4, still 127 runs behind Bangladesh’s 495. The hosts will look to build on this momentum on Day 4, with six wickets in hand and a docile pitch. However, Day 4 started in a poor fashion for Lanka as they lost skipper Dhananjaya de Silva early on.
