Jelly, 120 FPS, and BMPS 2025 Espiration on Infinix Partnership

Asports, a special interview with IGL Jelly of True Rippers on the development of Infinix Partnership, and chasing the BMPS 2025 trophy.

In the dynamic world of Indian asports, some names Gunzan echo with continuity and skills like “Jelly” Thakur. As an in-game leader (IGL) for Infinix True Rippers, Jelly has been an important force, directs its team through acute battle and consistently achieves high finish in major tournaments. Insidesport had a recent special opportunity to sit with jelly, in his personal journey, the importance of his groundbreaking partnership with Infinix, and his ambitions for the upcoming BMPS 2025 finale.

What does it mean to you for the first time to be a part of the ESPORTS team partnership for Infinix in India?

I have been following Infinix’s visit for some time, especially how the brand is constantly standing out for its commitment to mobile gaming. Therefore, when the opportunity in India became part of his first asports team partnership, it looked like a full-cycle moment and it was both proud and exciting. With the performance-first innovation of Infinix, we are not only to compete, but also to inspire and lead the next wave of gamers who dare to dream big.

How important is 120 FPS support in your gameplay, especially during BMP 2025 moments with high pressure?

In a high-day tournament like BMPS 2025, every frame matters. The 120 FPS support plays an important role in ensuring ultra-smooth gameplay, especially during acute close-to-girls conditions or rapid rotation. We usually practice and compete in a lobby that are much more intense than the classic game, and in those chaotic end areas, FPS stability becomes important. This allows us to perform at our highest capacity without a leg or drop. This gives us the benefit of decision making and divided-second in accuracy, which can often be the difference between winning and exit. For interested gamers, we will highly recommend 120 FPS-supported devices such as the newly launched Infinix GT 30 Pro, which is also a crafton-attested for BGMI, which is a reliable option for competitive gaming.

How have you developed since you started playing professionally since?

When I started playing, I did not have good devices and other devices. In fact, I used to borrow to play my brother’s mobile and earphones. Like -As my asports career proceeded, I started getting support from organizations, which meant that I do not need to buy my gear anymore. Now, being signed by True Rippers and supported by brands such as infinix, it is finally a powerful tool like GT 30 Pro that is designed for competitive gaming.

As a gamer, I have always looked for a device that distributes raw performance and a design that talks to our community and this is what the GT 30 Pro offers. With features such as 120 FPS support and gaming-first design, it reminds how far the mobile gaming gear is.

Your stability of high ranked finish in BMP is something that we have also seen in BGIS. What do you think there are competitive differences between two official tournaments?

BGIS is a very deep root and ground level tournament, where the underdog has an opportunity to show its talent. Therefore, many groups are made accordingly in earlier stages. On the other hand, BMPS is only one invitation tournament for professional athletes, which have competed in previous authorities. So, this is a hard lobby than BGI, but we are very confident.

With direct qualification from round 1, the team has earned a few days off. How important is this downtime and how does the team use it?

We have definitely been given valuable downtime by qualifying directly to BMPS 2025 cm Final Week 1, but we have sure to use it productively. Even though we made it at once, but we fully know about the mistakes we have done in round 1 and are actively working to correct them. We have not taken a day off from practice and after every practice session, we sit with our coach to review our gameplay and fix our strategy. This is our opportunity to review our gameplay, and work on areas without improvement of daily matches.

What are your goals for the conclusion of New Delhi, coming 5th in BGIS 2025 in Kolkata?

Staying in 5th position in BGIS 2025, we were shown how close we were to the top. We made a strong start in the first two days and the last day was convinced of closing with a big performance. The margin of points was not very large and we actually had a shot on the podium, or even with winning, just with a strong finish. For the upcoming LAN finale, our focus is on staying under pressure and giving 100% in every match. This time, we are aiming to go in all ways and lift the trophy.
