Sam Renhart Score 4, Panthers defeated Olers to maintain Stanley Cup

Sam Renhart scored four goals to help Florida Panthers to help in his second straight Stanley Cup final, with a 5–1 win against Edmonton Oilrs in the Sunrise, Fla with a 5–1 win against Edmonton Olers in Game 6 on Tuesday night.

Reinhart made all four shots to become the first player with four goals in the Stanley Cup final since 1957. He ended with seven goals in the final four matches of the series.

Matthew Takachuk also scored for panthers, who are the third team to repeat as Stanley Cup Champions in the last 10 years.

Sergei Bobarovski came within 4:42 of his fourth shutout of the 2025 playoffs, before Vasili Podcolzin scored for the olers. Bobrovsky ended with 28 savings.

Stuart Skinner made 20 saves for oilers, who also lost to Panthers in the Stanley Cup final last season.

A Canadian team has not won the cup since 1993.

Panthers scored the first goal for the fifth straight game.

Edmonton was excluding Florida 5–0, when Reinhart stole his own blue line from Defenseman Ivan Bouchord. He then placed Matias Ekhom at the top of the right circle before scoring at the skin of the skinner for a 1-0 lead at 4:36.

Panthers added to their lead in the last minute of the early period. Eetu Luostarinen pulled from a crowd in the Admonton Zone over the right circle and waited for Tkachuk, which just jumped on ice.

After receiving near Luostarinn, Takachuk brought the puck into a high slot before killing the top right corner of the net with a wrist shot, causing Florida to take a 2–0 lead with 47 seconds in this period.

Florida excluded the olers in the initial period during the series.

Florida made it 3–0 at 17:31.

Carter Verheghe fired a wrist tablet with boards and above the right circle that hit the skinner in the chest. Rebounds diagonally came out to cut Alexander Barkov through the left circle, and his feed to cut the reinhart for the opposite post went to his left skate blade and Admonton Net.

The olers survived the skin for about seven minutes and Reinhart scored in the empty net for a 4–0 lead with 6:24 remaining, giving them the first playoff hat trick in the history of panthers.

He did not finish, as Edmonton again pulled the skinner and the Reinhart scored in the empty net and made it 5–0 with 5:05.
