Nick Kurtz’s walk-off homer carried the previous astro

Ruki Nick Kurtz did not make any run-run-off homer under the bottom of the ninth innings, leading to Athletics 3–1 over Houston Astro in West Sacramento, California on Monday night.

Brent Rooker opened ninth part against Brian Abreu (1-3). Kurtaz then jumped on 2–1 slider and killed athletics 447 feet on a fence in the right-center to give a dramatic win in a four-game series opener.

JJ Blade also worked for athletics, who has won four straight games after losing 24 of their last 28 competitions.

Jose Altuve went deep for Houston, with the end of the season-Best five-game winning streak.

Mason Miller (1-2) killed two in an ideal ninth for A.

Homer was the seventh of the season for the fourth overall pick kartz in the 2024 draft. The walk-off explosion was the first of his brief Major League career.

Houston Ruki Ryan Guvsto started eight career in five innings. He gave one run, three hits and a walk.

Gusto started its debut in a day when Lance McCullers were scratched on Monday and placed in the 15-day injured list due to the sprain right leg.

Steven Okart, Sean Dubin and Brian King each picked a scorer innings of relief for Houston.

Sodersstrom tried to take second place on the throw and ruled safely. However, Houston challenged the call and Repley displayed that Soderstrom’s leg came out of the bag, while the shortstop Jeremy Pena had tagged it, finishing the frame.

Athletics starter Mich Spens allowed one run and seven hits in five innings. He hit two and one went away.

Jetty Guin (Quadriseps) was activated by A. 15-day injured list by A on Monday. He replaced Spenses and threw five in three shutout innings. He did not take a hit and no walk.

Altuve worked with two outsiders in the first innings, when he rolled a Spens Slider at a distance of 439 feet over the fence on the left.

Blade excluded the score with one in the fifth, when he sent a full-fanth fasteball from Gusto on the Right-Sentor-field fence.
