Former Indian pacer Siddharth Kaul has entered the Big Bash League draft, while 15 Indian women cricketers have also registered for the women’s tournament, Cricket Australia announced in Melbourne on Tuesday.Kaul, who represented India in three Odis and three T20s before retiring from international cricket last November, is the only Indian male cricketer in the BBL draft for Thursday. In the 54 matches played in the IPL, the 36 -year -old has claimed an average of 58 wickets on an average of 29.24. He last played in the competition in 2021 and has also donated jerseys from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi capitals in his career. James Anderson of England made more than 600 international players in the headlines, who have registered for the league. Anderson, if chosen, will become the oldest player in the league at the age of 43.

Among 15 Indian women cricketers, Kanika Ahuja, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the women’s premiere league and has recently made her T20I debut for India, has registered for the tournament. Other notable Indian women cricketers include veteran WBBL players Jemimah Rodrigues, Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadav and Yatika Bhatia.

The registration list includes S Meghna, Arundhati Reddy, Pratika Rawal, U-19 T20 World Cup winning captain Nikki Prasad, Uma Chastri, Kashway Gautam and Priya Mishra.
