Indian cricket star Smriti Madhana has returned to the top position in the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings, displacing South Africa’s Laura Volvardt who took over for more than six months. Mandana, who last held the number one place in November 2019, is now with a 727 rating points, while Volvard shared the second position with England’s nut silver-bunt.The ranking of the Volvard in the ongoing series against the West Indies led to a change in the ranking, where he scored 27 and 28 runs in the first two Odis. The bowling rankings have also seen the movement, spinners AFY Fletcher and Nonkuleko Mlaba have made significant progress.Fletcher and Mlaba, who claimed four wickets in each match, have progressed by reaching the 19th and 23rd places respectively. Fletcher moved to four places while Mlaba secured six places in the bowlers rankings.
