Jesus Sanchez made two hits including a home run, Calvin Faucher, James Wood was loaded with retired James Wood and two outs in the ninth and Visiting Miami Marlins defeated Washington National 4-3 on Saturday.
Liam Hicks and Dane Myers had made two hits in each for Miami, who won three of their last four.
4–1 behind, Washington challenged Marlins in the ninth. Anthony led a double call against the bender and moved to third place on defensive apathy. Josh Bell went and the call scored on a wild pitch, in which Bell was going to another place. Luis Garcia, with Junior Bell, doubled on the wall at the right-centers, which was tagging, stopped at the third.
Robert Hassel III first hit a grounder that Eric Wagaman booted as Bell because Bell made it 4-3. With Infield in and No Outs, Keibert Ruiz first and Hasel to second place. CJ Abrams deliberately went to load the hideouts. Amed Rosario ran to the left and Faucher came to face wood, which pops the shortstop Otto Lopez in the short left.
Johnson Junk (1-0) worked in a bulfan game of 5 2/3 scorer innings of relief, exiting two hits and four. Fauchar earned his seventh sev.
Abrams and Call had two hits for Washington, who lost seven directly.
Trevor Williams (3-8) gave two runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Washington took an initial 1-0 lead. Nathaniel Love finished the afternoon for Maralins opener Ked Gibson, and called a single. Ronnie Henriques retired the next two batsmen, but then two went straight to force in one run.
Sanchez exited the third, went to third place on a fly out and scored a tying run on bringing Hicks to the center.
Hicks and Lopez entered the sixth position against Williams. Brad Lord Lord made Williams and Wagaman sing 2–1.
Sanchez correctly dropped it out 3–1 against Lord with one in the seventh.
Marlins added an unarmed run in the eighth. Kyle stools led a single and myers did a single with one. Connor Norbi hit, but Garcia scored Xavier Sanoja’s pop by short rights and stools.
