Oriols Route Angels as Gary Sanchez Slugs Grand Slam

Gary Sanchez won the seventh-inning Grand Slam to help Baltimore Oils win 11–2 against Los Angeles Angels on Sunday afternoon, completing a three-game sweep to the seventh-inning Grand Slam against Los Angeles Angels.

Sanchez prepared for the second consecutive day after the missing time from late April with an injury. Ramon ureaus and Jordan Westberg also acted as Baltimore created their third series sweep in their last five series.

Cad Povich (2-5) was the winning pitcher, three hits and a walk and logging for strikeouts, logging on to the 32/3 scorer innings. It first marked in its last six outings that Oriols won the game. Five Baltimore Pichers combined on five-hitters.

Gunar Henderson joined Urias, Sanchez and Westberg with two hits. Baltimore’s runs came with a total of 12 hits. The team has won four out of four of their last five matches.

Nolan Shanuel hit a domestic run and Angels had two hits.

Starter Yusi Kikuchi (2-6), despite taking out 10 batsmen, surrendered five runs (three earned) in 5 2/3 innings and suffered losses.

Scott Blewevet, since re -adding Oriols, was used in his third presence, in the role of a opener. He gave two runs in 2 2/3 innings.

Los Angeles scored the first run on Scanuel’s home run with one out in the first innings.

Westberg reached an error and led the first innings and ureaus chased with a home run for a 2–1 lead.

The second run of Angels was charged on Blevet when Zach Neto scored Povich’s third innings on the wild pitch.

In the fourth, RBI Single of Ramon Laureno gave the lead to Oriols again. He scored an error in the sixth and two runs in Kobi Mayo’s double.

Serringoni Dominguase, Andrew Kitrase and Yenier Cano chased Povich on Maund and combined for 2 2/3 shutouts.

Angels scored a total of seven runs in the series. Los Angeles’s pitchers hit 14 batsmen in eight innings on the mound on Sunday.
