India vs India wrapped a tie, Harshit Rana to stay back

Entra-Squad match between India and India ended on Sunday before the Test series against India in Bekenham
The intra-squad match between India and India A was completed on Sunday, two-and-a-half days after it commenced. The game was one-off practice match attempting to give Shubman Gill and co. some vital game time before the five-match England series. India will now head to Leeds for the 1st Test which is scheduled to begin from June 20.
India to travel to Leeds on June 17
As per RevSportz, June 16 (Monday) will be a rest day for Team India. On June 17 (Tuesday), the team will depart to London from Beckenham and will head to Leeds. The team’s official training session will commence on June 18 and will continue on June 19 as well.
Meanwhile, the report stated that multiple India A cricketers are also scheduled to leave for India on June 17.
Harshit Rana to stay back
The Rev Sportz report further stated that Harshit Rana is set to stay back with the senior men’s team. Sources told the publication that the pacer will not be on the flight with the rest of the India A members who will be returning to India on June 17. Rana, who was a part of the Indian squad in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, was left out from the 18-member squad for the England series that was announced earlier in May.

Talking about the practice match, the game was wrapped up after 8 sessions. Top performers with the bat include Shubman Gill and KL Rahul (fifties), Sarfaraz Khan with a 76-ball hundred and Shardul with an unbeaten 122-run knock.
With the ball, Siraj managed to get two wickets but was quite expensive, conceding over 7 runs. Jasprit Bumrah went wicketless on Day 2 of the intra-squad game. Meanwhile, Shardul was among the wicket takers on Day 1, able to extract some movement from the surface.
